CEBU AIR BUYS 30 A321neo AIRCRAFT
Cebu Pacific Air, the Philippines’ largest budget carrier by sales, has signed a contract with Airbus for the purchase of 30 A321neo aircraft, reported Dow Jones Newswires.
The latest purchase agreement brings its total firm orders for the A320 model to 71, of which 16 have been delivered.
The airline currently operates 25 A320 aircraft, including the 16 purchased and nine under a lease contract.
"The A321neo will enable us to increase capacity on our key routes while benefiting from the lowest operating costs of any aircraft in this size category," said Cebu Air president Lance Gokongwei.
